Deep Throat Revealed

Former Deputy Director of the FBI, W. Mark Felt was "Deep Throat". David, please tell me why I should care...

On another note, the field of 64 is set for the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship. Holy Cow!! There are 9 teams from the SEC and another 7 from the ACC. I love this!!
USC gets Michigan in the first game of their region. Who was the Michigan lover?? I forget...

Reading suggestions

Well, the Bar-B-Q is gone...Hmmmm...Bar-B-Q and it's back to work.
I've finished reading the books in my sidebar and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions.
Nothing to thought provoking, just good, solid reads.
Since David and Bou seem to be the resident book hounds, I'm interested to see what they come up with...
I've been in a rut of sorts and need to shift gears, so any help is appreciated.

Yeah I'm free....I'm free falling

I got an e-mail from a good friend the other day telling me she had finally gone Skydiving. I've been telling her for years she should give it a try. Bottom line is she loved it.
I myself have 8 tandem jumps under my belt and her e-mail has me itching to go yet again. The thrill is something that is hard to put into words but I saw a quote that goes something like:

If riding in an airplane is flying, then riding in a boat is swimming.
If you want to experience the element, then get out of the vehicle.

I'm currently in negotiations with Napster over this little adventure and will keep you posted.
The funny thing is I really hate flying but won't hesitate to jump once the doors pop open.
Thanks KP.

Thanks to all service people

Memorial Day or Decoration Day as it was known until 1967, is a time to commemorate all of the US service men and women who have died during military service. As I get older, I aprreciate more and more the sacrifices made by our military personnel.
So enjoy the long weekend, see family and loved ones, but remember to pause for the cause. And Thank You to all of those who have put, and continue to put their lives on the line for our nation.
Dave over at Third World County sums it up better than I.

Bare ass naked and screaming like hell

Today I was born. I'm sure mom's relieved to have me out. Although given my size, I'm sure they skipped the epidural and just completely anesthetized her.
Anyway, thanks mom and thanks to all the understanding folks who have commented on my previous posts.

With some help from my better half, I hope to dress up the joint but for now, I'm just happy to be here.

The picture below is our cat Stella. She's insane. I mean for real insane. Coo-Coo for Co-Co Puffs, put her in a institution crazy. But we love her and wanted to test posting a picture. Click on the thumbnail to see the full sized, crazy, gimmie some food, cat face she's making...
