A Texas Hotdog Cart

Noticed another little difference here in "TLTTF" last night.
Napster and I have finally found a place to go and have drinks that is actually kind of fun. It's a genuine Texas honky tonk with line dancing, two stepping, cowboy hats, wranglers, boots and everything. Makes for some great people watching. Anyways after we left last night we were both a little hungry.......

Back in college the "Five Points" area had a hot dog vendor that set up outside the clubs around 1:00 AM or so. Man were those good...

In Michigan there was always Yesterdog as seen in American Pie or good ol' Bob Evans.

Down in the ATL, Mo would always drag us to the "Awful House". I'm getting heartburn just thinking about that one...On a side note, this is where Napster and I first figured out we may like one another. But that's a different story...

In Chucktown my personal favorite for late night grub was "Alex's".

Great places one and all and they all sort of fit that late night, post drunk need for food profile.

Well as we were leaving the honky tonk last night we walked out and smelled the most wonderful thing. Bar-B-Q. That's right folks, instead of a hotdog cart, this guy set up a full on BB-Q rig and was cooking away. We were tempted to try some but he was just getting started so he said everything might not be ready.
Oh well, it's something to look forward to I guess...Heh, a Texas Hotdog cart. Who'd a thunk it.
